QuestionI have an eight month old mini pig. She squeals a lot and it is making our home a miserable place. We love her but the squealing has got to stop! I have been told I either am not feeding her enough, although I am following what the vet recommended or that she has seperation anxiety. She squeals almost non-stop from 3pm to 6pm. What can we do to stop this behavior? And about how much should an eight month, 20 lb piggy eat?
Answer Pigs scream for a reason....usually it is for food.
Never, ever give into a screaming pig. Ignore it.....
They soon learn to train their owners that way.
Sge should gain about one pound per week up until a year of age and be getting two cups of feed per day.
