My mini pig is constipated

Question
I have a 1 month old mini pig and I think she may be constipated. Her diet consists of Mannapro pet milk and baby rice cereal. Is there anything that I can do different or anything I can give her for the constipation. Thank you.

Answer
I am not a veterinarian and can not make a medical diagnosis over the inernet.

Canned pumpkin is a great home remedy for constipation. At age 1 month, your baby is ready to start eating mini-pig pellets and vegetables. Start by mixing a few starter pellets in with her milk, and gradually keep adding more pellets while reducing the amount of cereal. Offer vegggies in small pieces as treats. The general rule of thumb is 1/2 c pellets per 15 lb of piglet, split into at least 2 meals per day.
