Question
I have 7 PotBelly pigs and am looking for a few more ideas on how to get an 8
yr old spayed female to put on some weight.  She eats with the other pigs;
eats no less than they do, but she is definitely needing to put on some
poundage! Hard to separate them all for feedings, so I'd like some
suggestions for healthy "treats" that I can give her>>> I've had dog kibble,
dog bones, small potatoes, horse feed and the like suggested... your
thoughts?  _thx!

Answer
I wonder why she is thin......this is not normal for a pig.
But they should not be obese, either.....it is the main cause of death in potbellied pigs.
Puppy food is high in protein and fat.
But it should only be a supplement to "real" potbelly pig feed.
Cranberry juice is good for pigs, but has a lot of added calories.
Good luck,
