2 weeks old Piglet.

Question
We have a two-week old potbelly pig. I now know that 2 weeks is too young to be pulled from the mother.

My questions are simple:

We are feeding him a mixture of Sav-A-Lam and Gerber's baby rice cereal from a small dish. How should we go about getting him to eat proper food?

He has two small red circles on his backside. They are not raised, nor are they blistery. They don't seem to both him. Should I be concerned about it?

Lastly, he has orange stains from where his eye gunk sits. Is this a health concern, or just the staining from the eye gunk? How best should I treat it?

I'm committed to my little Shug, so I'd really like a prompt answer from someone with knowledge about them.

Thanks,

Ryan

Answer
To train a pig to eat solid feed ,disolve it and gradually add small amounts to his pig feed.
Pigs have an orange pigment in their skin and eye dischage.
This is normal.
Those circles could be ringworm....pigs can get it.
