Pigs gums are white

22 9:16:15

Question
My boss has a pot bellied pig recently diagnosed with an ulcer.  Today her gums are completely white, is she dehydrated??

Answer
I am not a vet (don't even play one on TV) but white gums in pigs usually mean anemia.
We already know why....pigs with ulcers are anemic because they are bleeding.....
You need to get some vet approved iron for her ASAP.
NO aspirin or foods that will irritate her tummy.
Consult a vet!
Good luck,
Priscilla
