Pigs diet vs. mans diet

22 9:18:21

Question
Is it true that a pig's diet is extremely similiar to that of the S.A.D. diet that people are supposed to follow?

Answer
Can you be more specific of what a SAD diet is?
The most common nutritional problem in potbellied pigs is obesity.
So much so, it is not suggested they be fed meat, but instead a diet high in fiber, low in protein, fat, and salt.
This balance is what makes up commercial potbellied pig feed.
I suppose people would thrive on it, combined with the suggested fresh foods and veggies. HA!
But I really  suspect people do need more protein than a pig.
Pigs foraged in the wild, eating greens and a few grubs here and there.
They were primarily plant eaters.
