Rattie Eye problems

Question
I've posted a question here few times before concerning respiratory infection, I went to vet with my 2 girls and the vet gave me some Baytril and Doxycycline in strawberry liquid form to help with their sqeaking problems while sleeping or excited. They have been taking this for about 2 weeks and they have stopped completely, I dont hear them anymore, unless they are tackling, so that put my mind at ease. I will continue to give them the meds until I'm out, (30-35 days)

Now I have other concerns, One of my girls eye mucus/blood? has gotten so much worse lately. She's been having it a little bit every now and then but now her eye is just soaked. the eye doesnt appear swollen, She is eating, drinking, she's playful, she loves her meds. She's sleeping normally, She's always had a bit of a scruffy fur, and her coat looks the same. Her sister isnt suffering from this at all.

I've read up on these bloody rat eye conditions but I just cant seem to get a straight answer if this is something very dangerous. She's a very happy rat, but then again rats are good at hiding their illness.

I took a few pictures of her eye to show you.

She's waiting on her medicine on those first 2 pictures, she just loves that strawberry antibiotics mix, she'll be sad when I run out, its becomming some sort of a treat to her :)

if you could provide me some information, explain this condition as if I was 5 years old so I understand just whats going on.

I love my girls so very much and I just want them to be as healthy as humanly possible.

Refer to the link above to learn just what this red discharge is.  I think once you read what I have to say in the article (complete with photos) you will feel better about it and understand it more.  I think I describe it easily enough for everyone to understand which is what I try to do on my entire website.  If you have any more questions please feel free to ask.  Let me know after you read the article and see the photos.  Also, may I use your sweet rats photos on my page about porphyrin discharge as an example too?  I need more photos of rats with this discharge and she is a perfect cute model!
