Poor big red

one of my rats Big red has pink eyes and has poor eye sight, he is very nervous and skittish compared to his brother Conrad, is there any thing i can do to make him more comfortable or friendly any help would be helpful.

Well, other than letting him know he can always trust you (offer him treats, try to move more slowly around him if possible, always support him when you pick him up), there's not a whole lot different to be done with pink-eyed rats rather than black eyed rats. Is he a young rat, or is he older? Sometimes ratties are skittish and nervous for genetic/hereditary/personality reasons and not simply health.
