rat smell

Hi I have about 15 rats in my room I clean every 4 days and my perents say that the smell is bad for me. So I just wanted to know if it is and what I could do about it?

No the smell is not bad for YOU, but it can be dangerous for your rats.

How many cages do you have and how many rats per cage do you keep?  Lets start there.  Next, what litter do you use and are they litter box trained?  Last but not least, what do you use to clean their cage as far as cleaning agents?
