My rat is suddenly antisocial!

Question
PLEASE HELP! My rat has suddenly become antisocial?
I have a rat, and she used to be fun-loving, mischievous and loved running around my room and exploring. Then all of the sudden, 3 days ago, she started acting all lethargic and wasn't interested in coming out of her cage anymore. I even put some new toys in her cage and she hasn't even touched them. She still eats and drinks normally, she still keeps herself clean and looks perfectly healthy, and at night she still runs on her wheel, but other than that she just sleeps in her hide box or sits stock still in the corner of her climbing-ledges, just staring. When I try to pick her up and take her out of the cage, she doesn't move at all and just digs her claws into the wire mesh that her ledges are made out of and refuses to be handled. Even when I just left the door to her cage open, she didn't even come to check it out, let alone come out. PLEASE HELP!! I'm scared she's lonely, even though I try to take her out for at least an hour a day (I did until this whole not moving thing came about...). Does she need a buddy, because I only have one rat? I will do anything to help make her healthy and active again.

*Can an experienced rat owner please answer this question?*
*P.S. She sometimes weaves her head a little while she's staring... is that bad?*

HELP!!!

Answer
How long have you had her?  She may be lonely, yes, but a lethargic rat that shows no interest in anything esp when they did before may indicate illness.  She may  be sick and may need a vet to check her out.  She will need a vet that is qualifed in treating rats and there are not many of them so please let me find one for you that  sees rats.

Also, weaving her head from side to side is normal.  You must be new to rats? Please read my website, sandyscrittercity.com and refer to the page on rats swaying their head from side to side so  you can better understand what she is doing.
