new mouse squeak

I just got a new mouse yesterday and i have noticed that she will occasionally start squeaking a lot when she is just sitting there. it sounds kinda like a childs or a dogs squeak toy. none of my other mice have done this. it doesnt seem like she is sneezing, i was thinking maybe she had hiccups, do you have any idea what it might be? and if this seems normal or okay for her to be doing.

Your mouse might be sick. It's hard to tell. A vet visit would clear this up. Otherwise I would just watch her very carefully for signs of illness. Is she active, running in the wheel; or is she passive, or lethargic? Is her fur perfect, soft, and neat, or is is unkempt, or ragged, or messy? Are her eyes clear and bright, or is there any discharge?? Is there discharge by the  nose? Does she eat normally? Does she act completely normal when she squeaks? Does the squeaking grow louder or more frequent? Unfortunately, a sick mouse can seem perfectly well. That's why a vet visit would be useful.

She may be perfectly healthy and just a loud girl. But I've never heard anything as loud as a dog squeak toy. I would just watch her and see.
