baby mouse wont take dropper

i just tried to feed the mice as you told me to and they wont open there mouths so i can put the little dropper thing in , should i force it in ?

Dear Ashley,

No, you don't want to force the mouse to take the dropper.  The dropper may be too big for the pup's mouth, or the pup may be confused.  You can try taking the corner of a cloth or paper towel and dripping the milk into or onto the mouth that way.  Some people use a small paintbrush, or a plastic syringe.
