Question
Hey umm my mouse i noticed had 3 holes in his butt. 2 he uses to go to the bathroom and then the other one he has black stuff sticking out but it hasnt come out. im worried its worms. i found him in our house ,wild mouse, and he is a baby and really nice doesnt bite and i can even pick him up. i dont want to lose him !!!!!!!! let me know

Without a photo or more information it is very difficult for me to say what the problem could be, if there is a problem.  The best thing to do if possible is to take the mouse by a vet that works with exotics or pocket pets and ask for a professional opinion.  If that's not an option for you, you can write a "follow-up" to this question and include a picture so I can get a better idea of what's going on with him.

Please be aware that with some wild mice (deer mice, specifically), there is the risk of contracting hantavirus.  Be careful when handling the mouse or breathing in around feces (like when changing the cage).  It is only carried by deer mice, and the vet will be able to tell you if it is a risk or not.
