Question i went shreveport and was able to get some hermit crabs . do they require salt water or is it just better for them? anf another thing is it possible to pamper and spiol your hermies

AnswerAll hermit crabs require fresh and salt water (both chlorine free) and deep enough for them to get their shells into. It is required for them to maintain the salinity of the water in their shell and for their metabolism.
