Mass Molt in crabitat

Question
Good day Lola,
I have enjoyed reading and learning from your site.  I have a few questions.  It seems everyone in my crabitate is molting.. have been under for a least 4 weeks, no fishy smell.. both small and golf ball size crabs. Approximately 6 crabs, one is under the water dish..so I did not move and used another dish for the past few weeks.  Should I check on them? or just wait and hope for the best.. I hope they are not eating one another under there. I provide well balanced diet.  Also I want a good substrate so should I mix cocoa fiber with play sand and add water for sand castle like consistency? or leave dry is O.K? I have a water fall in the tank for moisture. Heat approximately 72-74 humidity approximately 82-84. at this time gravel around water, Calisand, and Eco Earth which looks like mulch -which I don't like) Your help is appreciated.

thks Crabby Mama

Answer
You are off to a good start. Get rid of the gravel when they are up and you'll be in good shape. Mass molts are extremely common, so is just hanging out below ground together. If it was me I would just wait and let them be, they almost always know what they are doing.
