My crabs shell is cracked

When i first got my carb the lady dopped it in the tank and his shell is cracked from side to side will he be okay????

You need to provide him with several other shell options that are the appropriate type and size for him. You need to make sure that there is enough humidity and that you are offering fresh and salt water in pools deep enough for your crab to climb into and get his abdomen wet since he will be losing water out of his broken shell.
