Questionmy hermit crabs are a boy and girl and I really want them to mate and I always find them on top of each other and don't know if its fighting or mating "PLEASE GET BACK ASAP"
AnswerTHIS IS NOT AN ASAP QUESTION, so i did not treat it as such. Here is your answer: They will not have babies...female crabs do get the eggs fertilized and may drop them in the salt water bowl, but they will not hatch. They have to be dropped into the ocean then they grow, find a shell, then live the rest of their lives on land. Hope i helped!
