QuestionI had two hermit crabs to start; Flash and Speedy. Speedy died suddenly and for no apparent reason (they were both well trained and well loved) so I got two more from the pet store, Scout, a medium, and Dozer, a jumbo. Dozer has recently been sitting in the water bowl a lot, and now he hasn't moved for several days. My mom picked him up to check on him and he twitches occasionally, and his antennae came out of his shell to visit us like they always do, but he smells fishy, the "death smell", if you will. I'm very worried but I'm hoping he'll make it. Please get back to me as quickly as possible, I need to know if there's anything I can do to help him.
AnswerI need to know a bit about your set-up before i can help you....what size is your tank, what is the humidity, what is the temperature, and what is in your tank (shells hideys decorations)......i will get back to you ASAP as soon as you provide me with those answers...hope i can help.
