AnswerThey could both be boys . . . . or neither of them. It sounds like you have two different species. One Purple Pincher and one Ecuadorian. The only way to tell the sex is to look at the bottom of the crabs abdomen when they are really far extended and on the back of the third set of walking legs will be two small dots, one on each side. They are gonopores and if you see them, it is a girl.
