Why my gp bites me?

My guinea pig sometimes when i hold him , it just bites me. why does it do that? i know its young ( 8 weeks old ) but it shouldnt just bite. ?

Answer
It will take time for your guinea pig to get to know you. You will have to spend a lot of time trying to tame him. Take him out two or three times a day, hold him in your lap for about 20 minutes, and just pet him very gently. Also make sure your hands have been washed before holding him so he doesn't smell food on you and bite.
