age for breeding are they too old?

I just got 2 female guinea and was told they were 2 years old. the lady told me they were too old to bread. and it would kill them to be bread because their pelvice grows together after they are 6 months old and never bread. I have never heard of this, is this true?

  Yes it can be true. You can take a risk though.Sometimes it could kill them because their pelvic bones grow together. I never breed after 3 years with my guinea pigs but however they probably won't die of having birth unless they are 3 years or older. I hope this was helpful and good luck!!
