cavy behavior

my boy is 4 now only its just lately he act like weve never met., and this isnt the loving guy who picked up or handled any time before would give kisses and head butts for love now 6 weeks his face is often in a corner and sleeps alot ..old tired or turning into a grumpy pup? sick I hope... not

Since his behavior has changed drastically and he is starting to sleep, it seems like he may be under some stress. Has anything been changed around him? Guinea pigs don't do well with with chsnges. If you can't think of any changes then I would seriously consider talking to a vet because it could just be old age or it could mean that he's sick.
