help guinea pig keeps biting cage

  hi lorena  i havea problem my guinea pig loves biting on the cage i give him plenty of chew biscuts but he still bites the cage i'm very worried about his teeth how can i make him stop? is there anything i can buy that will help him stop? please write back thanks

Guinea pigs aren't like humans.  Their teeth continuously grow.  It may be your guinea pig is needing to wear his teeth down a little more than usual.  Unless you notice his mouth bleeding, feel free to allow him to chew the cage, because it won't hurt him -- in fact, it may be helping him keep healthy.
