Guinea Pig selection

Question
I have a dwarf rabbit and I wanted to get him a buddy.  I am
leaning towards a Guinea Pig I want a nice lovable one so can
you help me select one?  Thank you

There are a lot of people who keep rabbits and guinea pigs together successfully.  The only thing to be careful of is that there are a lot of diseases that can pass between the two.  I would keep an eye out for these.

When selecting a guinea pig, I would recommend that you choose one from a reliable, reputable breeder only.  I do not recommend purchasing from pet stores, because there are so few pet stores that are knowledgeable and responsible with their guinea pigs.  Look for animals that are active, with clear, bright eyes, no discharge (from anywhere), no broken bones, even teeth, clean ears, etc.
