Water bottle. and more.

Hey i got a bunch of questions. First biggest question. I don't think my guinea pig knows how to use the water bottle. it's a standard water bottle. The company is Critter Canteen. When i press the little button on the tip, it pours out water. But when he drinks it, i dont see any air bubbles. How can I train him to drink from it properly?

Next question. Recently, he has just layed outside his house. Lying down, and starring at me. Then one night i came home a little late, and i saw him laying on top of his house. Usually he sleeps in his house. Still does. What does it mean when he sleeps outside somewhere?

I got him this "grass" hay like material bed. Do I still need to feed him grass. He eats the bedding anyway. Should I feed him grass anyway?

When will he learn that my hand is not food? He smells my fingers, then bites. I'm trying to train him by tapping him on the nose and saying no in a serious voice. He seems to do it less now.

I will answer your questions in the order you ask them.

Some pigs simply don't ever understand how a water bottle works, so it is probably a good idea to give him a dish of water also.

Sleeping outside means nothing, just that he wants more fresh air!

Pigs need hay as part of their diet but will eat grass also. you must give him hay to eat.

Pigs bite anything they can, so don't be too confident that he will stop biting your hand.
