pellet food

OK, I just bought this pellet food called Small World at Walmart. It has all the essentials but I wanted to know if it is bad because of a product called dried whey? I have never heard of it and I am concerned. Because they seem to love it but I do not want to feed them anything bad.

Dried whey is an ingredient used commonly in guinea pig foods to improve its taste to guinea pigs.  That's pretty much it.  Most guinea pig foods will use it, and its perfectly safe.  It's a dairy by-product.
