just wondering are there any signs of being pregnant other than a big belly?my guinea pig is 8 weeks old.

Hi Lin,

No, there aren't really any other obvious signs of pregnancy in guinea pigs.  The gestation period is 68 to 72 days, so it's a long pregnancy (longer than a dog or cat!).  You'll know if she's pregnant, it will be too obvious to miss by the time she's about 6 or 7 weeks along.  Hopefully at that age, she's not pregnant!  She is really much too young to breed, but it can happen by accident.
