leaving a guinea pig

We need to leave our pig for 3 days and 2 nights with no one to check on him. what kind of extended feeding can we do?

Make sure the pellet bowl is full. So add more then the normal to that so he has plenty. Get a big water bottle so that there is plenty of water for him. Keep in mind that adult Guinea Pigs drink anywhere from 4 onces or more. So keep that in mind it when to comes to the water bottle, even if you can't get a big one, then just add another one or two bottles to the cage. Make sure he has lots of hay, if you have a hay rake then fill that as full as you can get it and adding even a little into a bowl of some type will insure that he has plenty of hay.

That should see him through till you get back.
