fighting male guinea pigs.

Hi, we have got two male guinea pigs, 10 months old from a rescue centre. We have had them 3 weeks, we have been told that they have always been together, now they are fighting and we're not sure why or what to do. Can you help please?

Hello Karen!
It sounds like both of your males are hitting puberty and are trying to establish their dominance!
You can either get them neutered or you can let them work it out by fighting!
Try to give them both baths and then wash their cage, and put baby powder on them and on their cage so that their scents are all the same!
