Very ill guinea pig.

Hello, My guinea pig Pip has recently become ill. She has stopped eating, drinking, she can't walk, she shakes/trembles and her breathing sounds laboured. Also, she isn't producing any faeces or I don't think urine. I have taken her to the vet today and she has given her antibiotics and an injection to get her gut moving. That was 3 hours ago and she hasn't improved, still refusing to eat and looking very weak. What is wrong? My mum thinks it may be pneumonia? Any help will be much appreciated as I'm very worried! Thanks.

your vet should have given her some fluids if she has not been drinking.
When she tries walking is she wobbling or dragging her legs behind her?
You MUST get fluids into her asap but it sounds with her breathing being so laboured that it is very serious.Get her back to the vet and ask for a sub cut injections to reydrate her.
