Adopting a new guinea pig

I want to get a playmate for my Guinea pig, I got her from Petsmart.  I would like to get one from a rescue place instead of another pet store but have no idea of a place like that here in Reno, NV.  Do you know of one.

I live in England ... near Oxford, so I'm afraid I don't know of any guinea pig rescues in Nevada! Try searching the internet for "guinea pig rescue reno" or for general animal rescues. You may also be able to find a list of local breeders in a phone directory; they sell some of their babies if they are not of show-quality. Well done for making this decision ... you'll be giving an unwanted piggy a home, and she's much more likely to be healthy and not pregnant than if you get her from a pet shop.
