I have had a look around online and found that most guinea pig owners notice their piggies sleep with there eyes open, is it okay for mine to sleep with his eyes closed, I have watched him sleep and he closes his eyes?

Answer
As long as he's comfortable it doesn't matter whether the eyes are open or closed. I think that that when the eyes are open they're not truly in a sleep mode but are in a state of relaxation but keep the eyes open for danger.

Most of mine sleep with their eyes closed when they are really sleeping, but I see them very often just 'napping' with open eyes.
