is my guinea pig blind

I recently adopted a 3-4 year old guinea pig. Her right eye appears to be glassing over and she has become very timid and jumpy. Is she going blind? And what is the best way to take care of her if she is?

It isnt neccesarily the case that your piggy is going blind. When an eye is injured or infected it naturally turns an opaque colour which is its way of protecting itself.

I would get the eye checked though as if there is signs of infection the vet can give some cream to treat this. He/she can also inspect the eye to determine if there is a different problem.
