Pregnant piggie?

Question
My male piggie is usually very outgoing but after adding a female piggie a month ago, all of a sudden he is kind of mopey. Could it be that she is pregnant? He still eats and loves his floor time but he will sit outside her house and not go into his own. He also doesn't attack the food like before but waits for her to eat.

Answer
If you've had the two of them together you can be almost certain she's pregnant. He is no longer pursuing her attention and he knows it's useless if he did.

I would recommend you separate them before she delivers. She will be pregnant for roughly 70 days or ten weeks. She will come into heat within four hours of delivery and he will breed her back. He will not in any way hurt the newborns, but if there are baby sows they area able to get pregnant at around 3 weeks of age.  It's best to take dad out of there long before then.
