not moving

my guinea pig is not moving. He is dragging his back legs behind him when he moves. He eats as long as you put it where he can reach it. he is drinking a little bit but not much. He was fine when we went to bed but when we woke up in the morning he was scouting himself across the cage. what could be wrong with him.

well there are quite a few things that could be wrong, such as damage to his spine, bumblefoot, and a whole host of otherthings, really he will need to see a vet, and the sooner the better, I am sorry for the lateness of the reply but I have been away. I am sorry that i cannot e more helpful but as I am sure you can understand as it can be one of several things wrong with him and as guinea pigs can quickly deteriorate it is better to have a vet confirm what is rong with him right away.
