feeding my guinea pig

I just got a guinea pig from my pet store today.  He just weened off of his mother and has been on pellet food only.  I was wondering when i can start giving him vegtables and fruits and what kind and how much to start with?

Assuming your new piggy is old enough to be away from his littermates (6 weeks) then you can give him fresh food straight away.

Start with small quantities of carrots, cauliflower, brocolli, cucmber, apple, grape, almost anything fresh and you will get to know what he loves and what he doesnt.
