Cage Cleaners?

i have an aquarium for my GP, and he stinks it up pretty bad, I was wondering if there is a home remedy for the smell, and also what i can use to sanitize the aquarium.  I heard that bleacha and water in a spray bottle, then rinse well. Will this work? I appreciate your time.

I find the special animal-safe dissinfectant is perfect for cleaning piggies house out. An aquarium isnt the best place to keep a piggy because air cant circulate as well. This might be one of the factors in the bad smell.

Unfortunately, I dont have any special home remedies for this, sorry.
