Sick Gerbil?

Question
One of my gerbils, which is named Pumpkin, got sick from I'm thinking my other gerbil, Gracie. Gracie's eyes had mucus in them and we had kept Gracie and Pumpkin in the same cage while taking care of her. A few weeks later, my gerbil Pumpkin had gotten sick too, she had a lot of mucus coming from her nose and still does. We treated Pumpkin's nose with Corona.
We separated Gracie and Pumpkin that time and my mom made the mistake of putting them back together in the same cage without letting them meeting all over again while I was at school. When I came back, they were both separated again, but this time, Pumpkin had her nose bloodied up and her condition became worse.
I just looked at Pumpkin's cage a couple days ago and there was blood all over the side of the tank and in her bedding. She was sneezing it out. Her nose stopped bleeding/running after I cleaned up the side of the tank and left her alone for a while.
Now she is not drinking and my mom is worried. I just looked at another site and it said that a gerbil can become dehydrated quickly from loss of blood. What should I do? And about her nose also? I don't know how I'm supposed to give her water or what will make her nose better. Her nose has been like that for a few months. Please answer as soon as possible. Thanks.

Answer
You can try to force water in her mouth, with a dropper or syringe. That is the best way to try to give her water. My personal opinion is to take her to a vet to get looked at. I really think a vet is best right now since she isn't drinking water and not feeling well. A dropper or syringe though will help her and she will be forced to swallow the water, but it may not help her get better. I would also suggest using vitamin drops in the water you give her so she can try to get her strength back. Good luck and keep me posted. :-)
