Answer
Hi Dylan,

A "Black Bear" hamster is a Syrian hamster.  Black Bear is just a nickname for a Syrian hamster.  So you really have 3 Syrian hamsters.  And since Syrian hamsters are solitary animals, you should have 3 cages.  If you have more than one Syrian in a cage, they will fight, often resulting in the death of one of the hamsters.

Ideally, a female hamster should be about 3-4 months old when she has her first litter.  If your female hamster is younger than that, you shouldn't mate her.  And be advised that if you mate your hamsters, you can have up to 12 little babies to take care of - and each hamster will need his/her own cage.  So I would advise against mating.

Don't forget to separate your hamsters into 3 different cages, if you haven't already.  It's *very* important for your hamsters' health to do so.  And you won't even have to worry about them mating :)

If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask :)
