getting to know my hampster

hi its me again lol

About my gerbils i wanted them to know be better and not to be afraid and run away from me everytime i stick my hand in there cage and i was wondering what could help them to get to know me better.I have heard about just interacting with them more often but can you recomend like how many times a day and for aout how long

Hi Justin,

If you want your gerbils to like you more and approach your hand when you put it in, then play often with them and pick all the sunflower seeds out of the food and offer them when you want to play. Just hold a few in your hand or finger tips and they'll learn that coming to you means fun-time and treats. They're quick learners and love to play so when they figure out you're fun, they'll come eagerly to you. Good luck!
