Sleeping

Question
I just got my hamster yesterday and it just sleeps in the corner same with my sisters hamster she got it yesterday and it just sleeps in a corner is there something wronge with the hamsters or do they just like it there?

Dear Jamie,
This sounds completely normal. Hamsters usually find their favorite corner, or a corner where another hamster is, and they usually sleep there all the time. Remember, hamsters are nocturnal, which means they sleep during the day, and are awake at night. So if it seems like all  your hamster does is sleep, that is okay.
