my hamster twix is sleeping in his potty, is this normal? plz answer a.s.a.p

is your hamster doing his business in his bedding or is he acctually sleepin where he poops?

my hamster poos in her bed all the time, its pretty normal and the poops dont do any harm (infact hamsters eat their poop from time to time as it has nutriants in it!!) its the urine that causes infections, so if he is sleeping in his pee, then i suggest you either, get some of the wet sawdust and move it far away from his bedding, he may get the idea and know where to potty and where to sleep. if he is insisting on sleepin with his poops and pees then simply change this patch of sawdust daily, keeping it dry and clean, the best time to do this will be when hes in his ball. also if twix is just a young one, he may grow out of this phase as well, think of him as a teenager lol, and you'll get the idea.
