Bathing Hamsters

Hi, my name is Brooke I was wanting to know if it is okay to bath my hamster with a warm wash cloth and then dry her with a dry wash cloth?

Hi Brooke, there is really no need to bath a hamster at all as they keep them selves clean and can get cold if wet so this is really not a good plan. see if you can get hold of some chinchilla sand from your local pet shop, i havent tried it yet but apparently they love to roll and play in it and it helps clean their fur at the same time. tip some into a saucer and put in his cage and see what happens! good luck, Jen
