PLEASE ANSWER THIS ASAP!!!

hi mi name is miranda and i need hamster help ASAP. my little brother has a hamster and there are signs of wet tail. we are most likely going 2 take it 2 the vet, and get medication. i've checked a couple websites on wet tail, but i just really need help. do you have any websites that are really helpful for situations like these? and how do i contact a vet??? PLEASE answer as quickly as possible. my brother is @ tears and is so sad about this. thanx.

Hi. I'm sorry about your hamster and your brother. Wet tail is diarrhea and is a very dangerous illness for hamsters. It can be fatal if not treated properly. Most pet stores sell something called "Dry Tail" that helps prevent and treat wet tail.If you notice that your hamster has very runny stool or is wet and messy under the tail, immediately clean the cage and sanitize everything. You can try the Dry Tailand I hope it works. The best thing to do is call your vet and get the hamster started on an antibiotic. This is the only sure way to get rid of wet tail, and you need to act fast or your hamster could get worse
