About breeding Roborovski hamsters!

I didn't know I had boys with girls as Robovski hamsters! but the next thing I know, I am getting hamster babieis! i have done this a few times before with syrians! I have one other girl in the same cage (+ the male), is this all right????? And please could you tell me as much about them giving birth????!!!!

Well Emily, some people say its okay on the Dwarfs to let the others stay with the mother and I have had some success with that.  However you have to remember that every one is different and it might stress the mama out too much... and it could end up with the death of the babies or another one of the adults.  As far as pregnancy and birth, normally the pregnancy period is 18-21 days and it usually happens sometime around early morning before daylight.  Pretty much the same as the Syrians just remember these babies are much smaller and if your cage has too much space between the bars you can end up with escapees.
