Panda Bear Hamsters

From what I have read these hamsters should not be housed together, is that correct?  They seem to have characteristics of both types of hamsters. We had an unexpected pregnancy and to avoid this happening again I have a few questions.  At what age should I separate the boys and girls?  Would it be ok to put the boys in with dad until they go to there new home, or will he harm them?  And can I leave the girls with mom?

From what experts say, if they are from the same litter, they should be fine. But I don't recommend houding the together. Just watch them and at any sign of distress, move them.

They should be sexed at a month old. Again, you can try housing the males with the dad, but be careful.
