QuestionWhich sex seems to be more docile? I am specifically looking at Black Bears. Seems that I remember from many years ago that all my females were more aggressive....
AnswerHi,
Well, I've had both sexes of a few different kinds of hamsters (Siberian Dwarf, Cambell's Dwarf, and Syrian/Black Bear) and I've always found the male to be more docile among all breeds (except for the Siberian, which I really couldn't say since I own a female, and she's the sweetest hamster I've ever had). However, females can be docile, too; it just takes a little more work on your part. Personally, I prefer males, and yes, it has been proven that females are more aggressive.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.
