Question
QUESTION: Thanks for the infor regarding the biting.  Actually, he does not even try to nip my son and my husband just holds him by the scruff of his neck and tells him no. I know he will row out of this phase, I just want to make sure he understands that this is not allowed so when he stops teething he does not try it.  Any suggestions

ANSWER: It sounds like you are on the right track then and I don't usually hear of adult ferrets that have biting issues unless they are injured or have an unknown history that might include neglect or poor treatment.

QUESTION: One more things (for now, at least)...the little dude will poop/pee in his litter box most of the time....is there any trick to getting him to use it all the time...we use corn cob litter and i have read that some people use recycled paper litter. Is one better than the other and I always leave a little poop in the box when I clean it every day. But he always does at least one poop/pee in some other corner? Also if at some time we want to get a second little crazy man is it ever to late?

Answer
Not all ferrets are great about using the litter box, it is just they way they are but I do suggest a paper based litter due to the low dust factor.  It can be too late to add a ferret to the home if the first ferret is a lot older than the new one and if the first ferret has little to no experience with other ferrets when you decide to add.
