Question
Hello i have a female bearded dragon (i think) my problem is
we think she is female but since we hav got our new bearded
she seems to be showing all the signs of a male and has what
we think are the porse on her hind legs but when we try and
sex her she looks like a female, she is about a yr old but
is not all that big in size. like i said she is showing all
the signs of a male ie. showing her beard and flattening.
This may not be anything but she also passed some kinf of
white liquid earlia today which does not look like feaces.
Could you please help??

Hello. At young ages bearded dragons are hard to sex, there are a few ways you can do it. There are small dots on the hind legs of males which are called femoral spores. Usually, they are most visable after a warm bath. Females also have more of an arrow shaped head, while males are more of a spade shape. You can also check sexing by the vent of the dragon. This is hard to determine in young dragons. The white material being passed is feces.
