Question
Hi,
I am a teacher and have had a bearded dragon for a little over a week.  He is inbetween the baby and adult stage.  My students have started catching crickets for me to feed him.  Are there any types of crickets that I should not be feeding him?  Also, because I leave him at school, should I buy a timer for his lights?

thanks so much for your time!

Answer
Hello, ok well your first mistake which could turn into a big one is letting your young students catch wild crickets for him. Outside/wild crickets can carry infectious disease. start buying crickets from pet stores to feed him. And yes, you should have a timer since you are only there in some of the daytime.
